We target a number of competitions each year and the expectation is that all masters should compete at some point during the year. Masters target meets for 2024 include:
24th February -NW Regional Masters - Blackpool Palatine pool
19th-21st April - British Championships (long course) - Swansea
11th May – Trafford Masters Inaugural Open Meet – Sale
13th July – Cheshire Masters Championships – Stockport
7th September - NW Regional Masters - Blackpool Palatine pool
25th-27th October – Swim England National Championships (short course) Ponds Forge Sheffield.
10th November – Masters Intercounties (selected team) Middlesbrough.
The World Championships in Doha in February 2024 and the European championships in Belgrade 25th June to 5th July 2024 are not included but we know many of our masters attend these.
There are a few of our Masters with aspirations to make the 2024 Olympic trials, which is fantastic. The consideration times must be achieved at Level 1 and 2 Meets which unfortunately are not Masters Meets. Please speak to Bob and Jo Bolton for more information.
