As a club we encourage all our swimmers to participate in both internal and external galas and provide many opportunities for this throughout the swimming season.
We run an Annual Sprint Open Meet in May each year which is open to other clubs as well as our own.
Internal galas include Club Championships and Pointscore which are open to our Junior Squad and Masters swimmers. In addition, we run Mini Met galas for our younger swimmers.
Our coaches advise swimmers, based on their ability and level, which external galas they should target to ensure their further development and progression as a swimmer. If a swimmer is unsure about what external galas to enter, they should discuss this with their coach.
We take part in both the Arena and Bolton, Central Lancashire & Manchester (BCLM) Leagues which provides selected swimmers with the opportunity to represent the club as a part of a team.
We maintain a record of results from galas on our website dating back to 2019 and also our Ladies’ and Men’s Records from our Club Championships and our Mini Mets Records from their gala's.

Our Junior Competition Calendar below details all our internal and external galas throughout the current swimming season for the Junior Squad swimmers. Please note this is subject to change should any other galas come up that our coaches feel would be beneficial to the club and/or swimmers.
