Day 1 of swimming at Ponds Forge for the Masters British Championships and in the first session our swimmers bagged loads of medals giving us a great start for the Cupar Trophy.
Session 2 saw our 4x200 mixed freestyle relay team smash the 120+ world record by over 13 seconds! Congratulations to Paul Barnard, Holly Booth, Vicky Cunningham and Danny Mills. Paul also broke his own 200 Freestyle record by 2/100's of a second as the lead off in the relay. Alec Johnson then broke his own 100 Backstoke record by 1/100th of a second.

Session 3 and more British records fall to our relay teams - the 120+ men 4x100 medley made up of Jonathan Altoft, Joe Keeley, Craig Ward and James Simmo Simpson took 3 seconds off the previous mark The ladies 72+ 4x100 medley relay team of Emily Conway, Charlotte Taylor, Louisa Zolkiewski and Vicky Cunningham. In the 100 Butterfly Alec Johnson knocked nearly a second off his own British record. In the 4x50 Freestyle relay Nev Barton, Ashley McEwan, Neil Mackinnion and Alec Johnson took 6 seconds out of the British record.
