Club Chairman Bob Bolton was presented with the Tom Walker trophy for top club at the Cheshire Masters Championships by Cheshire President Allan Freeman at todays Cheshire Annual Council Meeting.
This was a particularly poigniant year to receive the trophy as Tom Walker sadly passed away in April of this year. Tom was a stalwart of Masters swimming in not just the county but the region also. He held numerous world European and British records during an illustrious Masters swimming career and will be greatly missed by the whole Masters swimming community.
Trafford Masters were clear winners with 582 points with Macclesfield Masters in second with 254 and Warrington in third with 125 points.
