Trafford Metro took a record number of swimmers over to experience competition at Ponds Forge Sheffield in the annual Retford gala. 47 swimmers achieved 159 PB times and collected 71 medals between them.
28 clubs took part. The host club Retford won the overall team score with 530.50 points. In second place were City of Sheffield with 349. Third place went to Long Eaton with 295. Fourth place was yet another local club Chesterfield with 253 points followed by Warriors of Warrington with 248 thenTrafford Metro on 217.
The club was extremely well represented with some excellent swims - a credit to their coaches on some excellent performances - well done to all swimmers
