On Saturday 9th July 2023 we held our 110yr anniversary celebration at the Conservative Club on Dale Road in Sale. Despite the extremely wet weather we had a great turnout of members and their families who enjoyed the evening, including music provided by our usual DJ Andy Carroll and a fun quiz compered and written by committee member Graham Hughes, who also did a fabulous job of manning the BBQ in the rain all night!
It was also a night to thank long standing member Mark Redman and present him with a gift on behalf of the club. Mark has recently retired from committee after many years service. He has in the past held the position of both Chairman and Vice Chairman and has been with the club since he was a youngster. Mark still swims with the Masters Squad so you may see him around the Leisure Centre. On behalf of everybody in the club, thanks again to Mark!
Thanks also goes to the following local business based in Emporium M33 in Sale for donating lots of raffle prizes which raised over £360 on the night
