Our Swim Trafford squad swimmers compete at the Lancashire championships every year. There were some fantastic results from a number of our swimmers.
Sessions 1-4
Holly Rowlinson smashed the compettion by over 9 seconds in the 13 years 200 Breastroke finishing with a time of 2:45.99. Holly also finished first in the 200IM in a time of 2:31.11. It was gold again for Holly in the 400IM this time beating the competition by nearly 5 seconds finishing in a time of 5:15.32. Holly added to her tally of gold medals with the 200 butterfly in 2:32.41
Jack O'Brien had a fantastic swim in the 13 years 400IM annihalating the field by over 12 seconds with a time of 5:03.61. Jack then went on to win gold in the 200 breastroke in a time of 2:39.26 and a silver in the 200IM in 2:35.02
Heather Lawson's time of 5:03.86 in the 400IM gave her the senior championship trophy and a third place in the open competition.
In the 15 years 400IM Connor Bennett took bronze in 5:06.23. Soloman Mhar also won bronze in the 200backstroke for 14 years in 2:23.24.
Sessions 5-6
Holly Rowlinson added yet another gold to her tally by winning the 50 breastroke in a time of 35.95
Jack O'Brien was also victorious once again, this time winning the 100 Breastroke in 1:13.19.
