In the last week of July 10 of our swimmers travelled to Rother Valley Country Park for the swim England open water nationals!
Our swimmers covered 5km, 3km and 2km distances and also participated in 4x400m relays!
Overall they came away with 3 golds, 3 silvers and 3 bronze medals!
Earlier in the month three of our swimmers also competed in the North West open water swimming championships, gaining another 2 golds and one silver medal.
Finally, two of our bravest open water swimmers participated in the Ullswater and Coniston chill swim series, covering distances of 7.5 and 5.5 miles! Huge props to Rebecca Lennon and Vicky Middlemast, who both took home wins for their age group categories in their respective events.
