The Three Metroteers
This season we have seen 12 swimmers compete in the Stockport Mini meets, and when each swimmer swum they did Trafford Metro proud with each and every swimmer progressing as the tournament went on. Noticeably the 3 who stood out was Ella Parker, Peter Barnard and Jack Halton who did the last 2 rounds and really show the grit in competing with some of the best swimmers in the country to be fair. Ella Parker came the closet to receiving a medal at the tournament claiming 3 4th places, Ella's nearest miss was on the 50m fc where she performed the best clocking 34.14 just outside the medals. Jack our 2nd metroteer did very well with his best result in the 50bk climbing to 15th in the standings with an impressive time of 46.6 out doing his personal best by a good few seconds. And our 3rd Metroteer was Peter with his amazing drawing abilities behind him peter did very well in the heats he was in giving all the swimmers a run for their money, Peters best result came in the 200 IM where he finished in the top 8 for the event.

Well done to all whop competed hopefully we can get more swimmers involved next year and show Stockport we mean business. Also Thank you to the coaches who helped at the Gala too.
