Over the 2 sundays that the Club Championship sprint events were held during July, no fewer than 9 recorda were broken. Some of these records were long standing such as the 200 Freestyle for men that was held by Steve Harding since 1985. Steve is still a regular swimmer with Masters.
There were some fantastic swims and hardly and disqualifications. A special thank you goes to all the volunteers who helped to make the events such a success as well as the coaches for all the hard work they put in and last but not least, the swimmers for their efforts throughout the year that make our club so successful.
