This was the 3rd meeting between Alsager, Altrincham, Knutsford, Nantwich, Sandbach and Trafford Metro. Heather and team led Trafford Metro in a close competition, with a thrilling finish where Trafford came a very close second to Altrincham.
The Final points are still to be confirmed, so there may be a possibility that Trafford could still win round 3.
There was a good number of younger swimmers in the Trafford Metro squad, who were swimming in their first competition, and swam fantastically.
The final meeting, 4, is on home ground, on the 21st of June at Sale Leisure Centre. Let’s be there to roar Trafford Mets on.
