Our first open gala held at Sale Leisure Centre was a huge success with swimmers from clubs around the north west in attendance. The gala was pitched at swimmers that don't normally qualify for regional events and novice swimmers. Medals and certificates were available for the 6 fastest swimmers in every event so there were lots of prizes on offer. There was also a prize for the top boy and top girl as well as best visiting club.
11 year old Kimberley Burston of Orca was top girl and 9 year old Stretford's Reuben Rowbotham-Keating was top boy. The top visiting club was Altrincham. Individual results can be seen here
