Youth squad swimmer Craig McNeil had the fantastic opportunity to swim in the 2012 School Games held on 6-9th May at the Olympic Aquatics Centre in London. He was selected to swim in the under 16 years 200m IM and 100Butterfly. In the medley Craig finished in 6th place with a time of 3:04.05 and in the Butterfly a time of 1:26.33 gave him 4th place. Part of the Games experience was the opportunity to meet former Olympians including Darren Campbell, Lord Sebastian Coe and various other athletes and volley ball players. Craig said it was 'inspiring and gave him more self belief'. Craig had a great time especially enjoying the closing ceremony with entertainment from Spellbound.
