The British Masters Championships is our annual national long course competition attracting more than 1000 swimmers from up and down the country. We took a 40-something strong team across the peaks for a weekend of racing and record breaking.
In total (relays and individual swims) the team managed to break:
- 1 World record!
- 3 European records!
- 15 British records!
Along with a fantastic medal haul of 51 golds, 30 silver and 20 bronze
It goes without saying the we were awarded top club, winning the Cupar trophy with over double the number of points of second place. There were countless fantastic swims, PBs, SBs and most importantly a lot of fun with Trafford on tour!
