Great first week in Sheffield at the British summer nationals.
Trafford; British Nationals qualifiers; Andrew Bolton (Trafford M), Alasdair Stout (Flixton), Jack O'brien (Trafford M), Jared Armstrong (Stretford), Holly Rowlinson (Trafford M) and Solomon Mhar (Trafford M)
Jack with a best time on his 400m IM. Holly qualifying for the final in the 200m IM. Jack qualified for the 50m Breast final, Holly finishing 13th in the 100m fly. Jack swam a new best time in the 100m breast final in 67.1 coming 5th. Holly finishing with a new best time of 33.2 and a bronze medal. Holly getting another medal finishing 3rd in the 100m breast.
Andy swam for Bolton in the 4x100m relay. Andy went a 54:34 on his leg and the team qualified for the final. Finishing 9th in the final, with a faster time. Andy went really well with a 54.09 anchor leg
Then to finish the championships; Swim Trafford (Sol, Jack, Alasdair & Jared) 4x100m medley relay coming 4th in the final.
We are proud of all the swimmers for working hard every day pushing the standards in training to challenge at this level.
